Lincoln Dinner 2024

Last night several members of the Dawson County Republican Party were among the 300 attendees of the sold-out 2024 Lincoln Dinner. Former US Senator Kelly Loeffler introduced the event's keynote speaker US Senator John Kennedy (R-LA), who charmed and inspired the crowd with his folksy, spot-on and pull-no-punches speech. Other special guests included Josh McKoon (State Chairman of the Georgia GOP), state senators Brandon Beach and Greg Dolezal and Rep. Mesha Mainor who switched parties last summer. The latter two participated in an informative "round table", emceed by Atlanta radio personality Shelley Winter (95.5 FM WSB), in which they and two other politicians discussed bills they're working on and how the Republicans can win in 2024 and beyond. A big "thank you" to Donna Watson, former chairman of the 6th District, for organizing such a wonderful event.
